UK unemployment rate at lowest level in six years
New statistics reveal that, based on figures since 2008, the UK's unemployment rate is at its lowest level.
This is due largely to a six percent decline in unemployment between the months of June and August this year, meaning that 538,000 less people were unemployed based on figures from the year before.
This represents the largest fall in unemployment on record since they began in 1972. – Further signs that the UK economy is on-track, and continuing to attract investment from overseas.
