Skills for the Workforce

Free tailored training to fit your business needs.

Skills for the Workforce* is a new project designed to support Berkshire SMEs to develop the skills of their employees, enabling them to expand their skill set to be able to fill intermediate technical and higher level skills gaps and progress in their employment.

Training will be delivered on a flexible, modular basis and tailored to the specific needs of your company and employees.  Programmes can include accredited units, certificates or diplomas as well as non-accredited training, which will be delivered at your workplace and local training provider facilities.  Employees will then have the opportunity to progress on to a full, industry-recognised qualification, such as an apprenticeship, to gain more in-depth knowledge and higher level skills.

All of the training partners in the Skills for the Workforce programme have years of experience working with businesses in a wide range of sectors, and can ensure your workforce is equipped with the skills it needs to keep your business competitive.  To benefit from this offer and see how the pieces can fall into place for your business, please visit www.eastberks.ac.uk/skillsfortheworkforce to find out more and arrange for a free consultation.

Scheduled training programmes currently include:

* The Skills for the Workforce programme is part of the Employees Support in Skills project, which is part-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund (ESF).
