Work starts to expand Wexham Park Hospital’s A&E

With new improvements to the Accident and Emergency unit at Slough’s Wexham Park Hospital there has been big change, with the hospital expected to treat 70,000 a year it has risen to an incredible 100,000 with its first update in 14 years.

The hospital are hoping to expect good things from the new improvements of the hospital, with more areas to improve privacy for the patients and more bed space for patients coming in by ambulance, already showing a huge difference to the A&E department. The hospital are also working on reconstructing the waiting room to create more space for patients and patients arriving by ambulance, they are also expanding the children’s A&E department to make Slough hospital a more comfortable and spacious environment for its patients and staff.
