The government has announced that £96.9m will be invested into Berkshire-based projects, giving them a kickstart and sustaining their growth.

The Thames Valley Berkshire Growth Deal, led by the Thames Valley Berkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), is expected to generate up to 17,000 jobs and 10,000 new homes in the region and greatly enhance the local economy.

Plans for the investment include a new rail link to create better access between Slough and Heathrow, improved motorway access across the M4, along with traffic and speed control measures. – An initial investment of £17m will be pumped into the project in 2015/2016, with a further £79.9m allocated later in 2016/2017.

With so much excitement in Berkshire's future, now is the time to be considering Slough as your place of business.
